INDONI MISS CULTURAL SOUTH AFRICA 2013 WINNER TSHEPISO MADAI scoped R100,00 on the Miss Indoni 2013. There were many excited spectators when 12 Indoni maidens paraded from Pixley Ka-Seme to Durban City Hall.
The young women were wearing colourful attire to reflect thier cultures Sotho, Pedi, Xhosa, Tswana, Swati, Zulu, Khoisan, Pondo, and Ndebele.....to be continued. by Abraham Kortjaas

The Soccerex in Durban, South Africa started on Monday ended on Tuesday its aim is to nurtur the skills, morals and development of the clubs around Africa.

Carol Tshabalala, Soccer legend Lucas Radebe a former Bafana Bafana player and John Barnes a England soccer legend were on the panel discussing the challenges that are entained in the footballs. The soocer need to break the barries of racism. The soocer players need to communicate with the people of those countries after they have signed  by the foreign soccer clubs. Lucas Radebe said " I was playing for Leeds United I never experienced the racism on other countriies, I always inter-act with the people which are the soocer fanatics"
The players should  treat a football as thier career they need to be serious about thier skills speaking with John Barnes he said "There is no racism in football unless the media people are provoking that to the fans of football, I never experience so such ill-treatment from other countires' he said. Workers' Day (Public Holiday)

This South African public holiday commemorates the working class – the cogs that keep the clock ticking!

Following the first democratic elections in South Africa in 1994, 1 May was inaugurated as an official national public holiday. Known as International Workers’ Day (also as May Day), the holiday is widely celebrated, with as many as 80 countries honouring the date and what it stands for.

The history of Workers’ Day goes back to the 1886 Haymarket Affair in Chicago, where police tried to disperse a large crowd of striking workers (they were protesting for a shorter work day of eight hours). A bomb was thrown at the policemen by an unidentified assailant, and law officers then proceeded to fire live ammunition at a defenceless crowd of unarmed strikers (sound familiar?).

Though, it wasn’t until 1891, after successful annual demonstrations on 1 May around the globe, that Workers’ Day was formally inducted into the official calendars of many countries. Since then, Workers’ Day has been used by the working class across the world, South Africa included, to emphasise the need to establish fair labour practices and employment standards. In our nation, the Communist Party, trade and labour unions were heavily entrenched in the fight against Apartheid. Thus, it was of little surprise that our democratic government chose to commemorate this day and its ideology after the fall of the oppressive regime.

While this public holiday doesn’t quite receive all the fuss it rightly deserves, it serves as a stark reminder to governments of the power of the working class.

THE FIRST GAY TRADITIONAL WEDDING IN KZN. blogged by Abraham Kortjaas

The gay marriage is  the marriage between to  males people, The gay marriage is the something which is not common to happen , but in Kzn it was known from  Tshepo Modisane and Thoba Sithole in kwaDukuza in the North of KwaZulu Natal last wwekend.
 In Africa, South Africa is the first country  anjd the second country is Europe to constitutionalise this act of the same people of the same sex to get marriege. This act was introduced in 2006 by the new government of that time. There are  number of  of countries practising this same sex wedding 15 countries around the world.
 Legal recognition of same-sex marriages in South Africa came about as a result of the Constitutional Court's decision in the case of Minister of Home Affairs v Fourie The court ruled on 1 December 2005 that the existing marriage laws violated the equality clause of the Bill of Rights because they discriminated on the basis of sexual orientation. 
Studies conducted in several countries indicate that support for the legal recognition of same-sex marriage increases with higher levels of education and that support is strong among younger people. Additionally, polls show that there is rising support for legally recognizing same-sex marriage globally across.
The court gave Parliament one year to rectify the inequality. The Civil Union Act was passed by the National Assembly on 14 November 2006, by a vote of 230 to 41. It became law on 30 November 2006. South Africa is the fifth country, the first in Africa, and the second outside Europe, to legalize same-sex marriage.
On  the case of these two couples the wedding was successful, the bull was slaughtered so the ancestors could bless the wedding. The wedding was glitz and glamour attracting media houses. The couples came with Mercedez Benz C class car.

WHY DID THE SOLDIERS IN CENTRAL AFRICAN REPUBLIC DIED? by Abraham Kortjaas

13 Soldiers were killed in Central African Republic 200 soldiers were attached by 3000 rebelions. The South Africa  troop they defend themselves for about 18 hour of none stop blazing guns and bullets. The rebelions took the country into thier hands by a Coupe De tat. The  South African soldiers  are so brave to defend themselves againts 3000 soldiers.

The big question is why so  few soldiers went to train the troops in Central A frican Republic( CAR). Another big is were these soldiers went to defent the President of Central Republic Africa? In South Africa  what interest do we have on that country or we just bound by the African Union Policies.

The soldiers were sent to the CAR line with an agreement signed in 2007 in which South Africa was to train the CAR army, Zuma said. Another 200 soldiers were deployed late in 2012 when security deteriorated in CAR, to protect trainers and South African military assets already in the CAR. I am so ashamed about the rebelion for what they did to South African Troop in CAR.

This occurance will never happened again in the  history of the military in South Africa. This  is the big fall on the South African History. I feel sad about the family who lopst thier love ones. Blogged by Abraham Kortjaas
